An initiative for a better environment together.

The initiative aims to build environmental awareness, particularly regarding climate change issues and rational consumption, and targets 120 parents and 120 children aged 9 to 12 years. Workshops are conducted in each of the targeted governorates for three days each. Each workshop is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical, hands-on part. The theoretical part focuses on building awareness among the participants and engaging them in an academic and educational component about the environment, climate, and methods of rational consumption and environmental preservation. The practical part involves implementing campaigns such as: a campaign to clean the Nile River in Aswan, a cleaning campaign in the Wadi Degla Protectorate in Cairo, a campaign to clean some beaches in Alexandria, a tree-planting campaign in Suez, and a tree-planting campaign in Fayoum.

The initiative aims to promote the values ​​and practices of citizenship in Minya Governorate, especially in the 44 villages that suffer from social challenges related to religious intolerance and extremism. The partner associations seek to implement several social, economic, and cultural activities and interventions to spread the values ​​of tolerance and acceptance of others. Al-Khair Al-Sar is working on this initiative in three villages in Beni Mazar district in Minya Governorate by creating a social, cultural, and developmental environment that supports social peace and sustainable development, focusing on three main areas: The first area: Human development and social protection for poor families from all segments of society. The second area: Raising awareness against social, religious, and cultural discrimination and fostering values ​​of respect for diversity and citizenship rights through religious, social, cultural, and sports activities. The third area: Implementing developmental and economic activities to develop the targeted villages through the participation of all social groups in the development processes.

The initiative aims to provide healthy housing for poor and most vulnerable families in Egyptian villages, specifically those benefiting from the Takaful and Karama program. The condition of the housing and the provision of environmental standards and basic services contribute to improving the lives of these families. The Good News Association operates in three governorates: Minya, Assiut, and Sohag, focusing on the poorest villages, which were selected by the Ministry based on the poverty map developed through studies conducted by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

Alamk helps you achieve your dreams in collaboration with the Sawiris Foundation.

The project aims to: Empower 2600 families socially, educationally, and economically. Reduce illiteracy rates among the poorest families and empower them educationally, socially, and culturally within an institutional framework that contributes to building a well-rounded personality for an enlightened, creative, and responsible citizen in 16 villages in Minya and Giza governorates. This will be achieved through: 1. Reducing the illiteracy rate for 1600 women from the poorest families, enabling them to read and write. 2. Providing social empowerment and life skills training to 1600 women who have graduated from literacy classes. 3. Enhancing the creative abilities and life skills of 500 children in basic education from the families of women who have graduated from literacy classes. 4. Raising the economic level of 150 families from the families of women who have graduated from literacy classes. 5. Empowering and building the institutional capacity of individuals and grassroots entities, including 75 local leaders and members of community associations. 6. The project has exceeded its goals by supporting and empowering 2200 families.
