Training Workshop on Designing, Implementing, and Evaluating Community Initiatives in Shalqam and Abtoga

The Minister of Social Solidarity supports efforts to promote citizenship values in Minya

As part of the implementation of the "Promoting Citizenship Values and Practices" program, carried out by tGood News Ass Organization through the "How Beautiful is My Country" project, Her Excellency Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, paid a supportive visit to the project in Minya Governorate. She delivered an encouraging speech to the participating associations. Also the project team from the Ministry of Social Solidarity—Dr. Magdy Helmy, Mr. Shady Selim, and Ms. Walaa Hassan—reviewed the achievements of the program in its previous and current phases. These achievements were made possible under the auspices of the Deputy Minister, Engineer Margaret Sarofim. The Governor of Minya, Major General Emad Kadwani, and His Excellency Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments, also participated in the event. Good News Organization extends its special thanks to Her Excellency the Minister, Her Excellency Deputy Minister Engineer Margaret, His Excellency the Governor, the esteemed ministers, and the "How Beautiful is My Country" project team.

Comprehensive Development Project for Al-Ayaysha Village in Qus

Partner: Businessmen's Donations Project Duration: 2022-2024 Implementation Location: Qena Project Objective: To achieve comprehensive development for Al-Ayaysha Village in Qus, Qena Governorate, through the implementation of multiple development programs focusing on health, education, economic development, childhood and motherhood, and empowerment. Target group: All segments of the population in Al-Ayaysha Village. Project Focus Areas: Raising the educational level of the target population. Improving the economic and living standards. Enhancing the level of healthcare in the village. Creating a safe and suitable environment for raising children aged 2 to 12 years. Enhancing children's skills. Empowering women socially, educationally, and economically.

Partner: New Horizons Foundation in cooperation with BATHFINDER Project Duration: 2024-2026 Implementation Locations: Greater Cairo Objective: Economic and social empowerment of 2,000 women Through: 4-day training workshops focusing on financial inclusion, violence against women, and climate change.

Together for a Better Environment Project

Partner: Icon Media Project Duration: 2 years Implementation Locations: Aswan, Fayoum, Alexandria, Suez, and Cairo General Objective: To build environmental awareness, particularly regarding climate change issues and responsible consumption, among 120 parents and 120 children aged 9 to 12 years, through: - Conducting workshops in each of the targeted governorates. Each workshop lasts 3 days and is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical, applied part. The theoretical part focuses on building awareness among the participants and engaging them in an academic and educational component about the environment, climate, and methods for responsible consumption and environmental conservation. The practical part involves implementing clean-up and tree-planting campaigns, such as: a campaign to clean the Nile in Aswan, a clean-up campaign at Wadi Degla Protected Area in Cairo, a campaign to clean some of Alexandria's beaches, a tree-planting campaign in Suez, and a tree-planting campaign in Fayoum.
