Project Duration: One year, from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 General Objective: To raise the educational, cultural, and vocational level of children who working in quarries to reduce school dropout rates, child labor, and to build awareness among their families. Target villages: Bani Khalid Village - Jabal Al-Tayr Al-Bahriyah Village - Jabal Al-Tayr Al-Qibliyah Village Target Group: 1,000 children Project Activities: 1. Tutorial classes for 120 children aged 10-17, from first grade of primary school to first grade of preparatory school. 2. Community empowerment for 30 women through educational and literacy classes. 3. Vocational training for children working in quarries aged 15-17: 4 workshops focus on fabric printing for 80 child. 4. Two training workshops on paper recycling, for 82 beneficiaries. 5. Four training workshops on making women's accessories and beads, for120 beneficiaries. 6. Classes to build values and develop children's skills for 120 children. 7. Implemented four sports days for 600 children. 8. Vocational training in making plaster statues from quarry waste for 60 beneficiaries.

Partner: Coptic Orphans Project Duration: 2024-2026 Implementation Location: Minya Project goal: To raise the educational, cultural, skill-based, and values-based level of 50 struggling primary school girls through a mentorship program. This program involves 50 university students accompanying 50 younger primary school girls to deliver and explain lessons in a simplified manner, instilling values and life skills through sessions separate from regular study time. The program also includes educational activities, field trips, and promoting a culture of volunteerism among university students. Direct Target Group: 50 university students - Primary School Girls: 50 girls Indirect Target Group: 500 individuals, including family members of the targeted girls (average 5 members per family)
