Projects
This project aims to achieve comprehensive development in the region. It focused on implementing activities in the health and environmental fields, concentrating on improving the infrastructure of the village, including roofs, bathrooms, and sewage systems. It also included classes to raise health awareness, improve reproductive health, and combat female genital mutilation.
The project also implemented activities in the educational field, such as literacy classes for men and women, as well as tutoring and simplified science classes for primary school students to reduce dropout rates.
Furthermore, the project focused on raising the economic level of the targeted families through vocational training and providing loans for small-scale projects, in addition to seminars and training sessions to build economic awareness. It also established nurseries for children aged 2 to 6 years, a children's club, and campaigns promoting children's rights.
The project had a vision for sustainability.
Committees were formed from local leaders and trained over six years in specialized areas such as health, environment, economic development, education, and child and maternal health, enabling them to implement development activities and ensure the project's continuity.
