Agricultural development program
It aims to raise farmers' awareness in an effort to improve farming methods and increase per-acre productivity through: field and extension schools. This program is implemented in several villages in Minya and Sohag governorates in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture through agricultural extension engineers. This program seeks to introduce the cultivation of new crops that were not previously grown, and also focuses on the importance of cultivating export crops and medicinal and aromatic plants. It also aims to optimize the utilization of existing crops. The association collaborated with Al-Salam Development Association to implement a project in Al-Jawli village, Manfalut district, Assiut, for preserving and exporting green beans. The project started by exporting the yield of 3 acres and now exports the yield of 33 acres. This project has led to impressive results, including the elimination of unemployment in the village. Furthermore, a condition for employment in the project was passing a literacy test, which resulted in the village becoming completely literate.
