Partner: Sawiris Foundation for Social Development Start Date: October 1, 2019 Project Objective: Freeing 1,600 women who benefiting from “Takaful and Karama program”, from illiteracy and empowering them educationally, socially, culturally, and economically within an institutional framework to build a well-rounded, enlightened, creative, and responsible citizen. Project Locations: Giza Governorate, in the districts of Badrashin, Saqqara, Dahshur, and Abu Sir. Minya Governorate, in the districts of Hor Naway and Abshay in Mallawi, Bani Ahmed and Sharqabiya in Minya, and Jabal al-Tayr, al-Saririya, and Bani Khalid in Samalut. Project Duration: Two years, with a six-month extension.
