Project: A Hero's Cry Partner: DMC Netherlands - Project Duration: One year, from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 - General Objective: To raise the educational, cultural, and professional levels of children working in quarries to reduce school dropout rates and child labor, and to build awareness among their families. - Targeted Areas: Beni Khaled villages - Jabal Al-Tair Al-Bahariya village - Jabal Al-Tair Al-Qibliya village. - Target Group: 1000 children - Project Activities: 1. Opening simplified science classes for children from first grade to first year of preparatory school (ages 10-17) for 120 children. 2. Community empowerment for girls through educational and literacy classes for 30 women. 3. Vocational training for children working in quarries (ages 15-17) in fabric printing: 4 workshops with a total of 80 children. 4. Vocational training for children working in quarries (ages 15-17) in paper recycling: 2 workshops with a total of 82 children. 5. Vocational training for children working in quarries (ages 15-17) in making women's accessories and beads: 4 workshops with a total of 120 children. 6. Opening classes to build values and develop children's skills: 120 children. 7. Implementing 4 activity days for 600 children. 8. Vocational training for children in making gypsum statues from quarry waste.
