The “Your Education Achieves Your Dreams project aims to eradicate the illiteracy of 2,000 women in Minya

Within the framework of the Your Knowledge Achieves Your Dreamsâ project, which is funded by the Good News Association and the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, a meeting was held with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Solidarity in Minya Governorate, and a number of leaders of the Directorate and the Adult Education Authority, to discuss ways of cooperation in the project. The meeting began by welcoming the attendees, and presenting a summary of the project™s objectives, the target group, and ways to reach them. The project aims to eradicate the illiteracy of 2,000 women who are beneficiaries of Takaful and Karama, empower them socially, and support the life values of their children. The meeting also included meeting with a number of heads of social solidarity units in the targeted villages within Minya Governorate.

The coordinators of the literacy and adult education classes in the “Your Knowledge Achieves Your Dreams” project were also interviewed in the village of Beni Khaled in the Minya Governorate, and in the Beni Ahmed al-Gharbia in the Minya Center in the Minya Governorate, with a detailed explanation of the literacy project, responding to all the facilitators’ inquiries, and ensuring the grouping of beneficiaries and choosing the locations of the classes. The organization responded by warning that securities contaminated with the virus may transmit the infection and may contribute to the further spread of the virus in the world. The organization said that citizens everywhere should avoid using paper currencies and use payment methods that do not require touching. The organization stated earlier that the Corona virus may remain on banknotes for several days, which may increase the chance of infection with the virus. The organization advised citizens to wash hands well after dealing in securities to avoid the virus. Earlier, the danger of coronavirus infection in China became apparent, after the Beijing authorities subjected banknotes to quarantine. The Central Bank of China announced a decision to clean banknotes in circulation by placing them in quarantine, with the aim of limiting the spread of the virus. In general, one must be careful while dealing with money, and wash hands constantly, or sterilize hands continuously using alcohol or sanitizing gel, especially for those who go out constantly and deal on the street or in retail stores, with the necessity of using gloves.
